Liz Hamel

As KU Honors' student experience coordinator, Liz coordinates and facilitates honors programming aligned with the Enhanced Learning Experience (ELE) curriculum. Her career background is in community social work, including community organizing, popular education, experiential leadership development, and nonprofit program management. Most recently before joining the program, Liz was an academic advisor at KU. Liz is a lifelong Jayhawk and loves history, creative expression, coffee shops, books, cats and dogs, comedy, and watching sports.
