Joany Richardson

As the program's office manager, Joany oversees the day-to-day needs of students both current and prospective, as well as Nunemaker's guests, the program's staff, and the Honors Faculty Fellows. Prior to joining KU Honors, she spent two decades owning and operating her salon in downtown Mission, Kansas. She recently completed a certification in Anthroposophical Inner Development, a program out of Boulder, Colorado. Outside of work, Joany loves knitting, reading, and watching movies — all activities that are compatible with snuggling her cats.
