Honors Community Advocates
The mission of Honors Community Advocates is to advocate for and develop an extraordinary community experience for students at the Honors Program of the University of Kansas. This will be achieved through coordinating social events, participating in group volunteering, and fundraising to provide awards to Honors students. HCA serves as a liaison between UHP faculty and students. They provide academic and social support through events and networking, in addition to community service and volunteering opportunities. They host informational workshops and fundraise by making merchandise and care packages available to Honors students. HCA works to expose all Honors students to resources and opportunities that will help them be successful. HCA members are expected to complete ten hours of service and to attend at least 75% of HCA meetings. Interested in joining? Contact HCA by email.
