The Honors Experience

Your first year as a University Honors student is one of discovery.

You will learn in more than one way, and the Honors Program is here to help you in the process.  Being a successful KU student means actively engaging in campus life in and out of the classroom while gathering the tools you need to be a successful citizen upon graduation.

All of this starts in your Honors Freshman Seminar, Honors events and programming, and the connections you'll make with your classmates. Make sure to take advantage of everything we have to offer, be it advising, professional development, or engaging with visiting speakers.

Belonging to the Honors Program means more than early enrollment: it is a unique opportunity to be mentored by some of the best students around the university, advised and taught by the best faculty and inspired to succeed by scores of outstanding alumni.  Make the most of it!
