Honors Faculty

"We are trying to pass on to succeeding generations our own enthusiasm for the life of the mind. We want to help them go further than we have been able to go ourselves."

-J. Michael Young, University Honors Director, 1991-1995

A pioneer in Honors education since 1955, the University Honors Program remains on the cutting edge of innovative pedagogies, in large part because of our faculty. Their dedication, knowledge, and creativity are the backbone of the KU Honors experience, and we are forever grateful for their dedication to excellence in education.

The Faculty section of the Honors website is meant to provide prospective and current Honors faculty with resources for enhancing their teaching and advising, as well as refer them to local and national models of best practices. If you have any questions or would like to learn about ways to be involved with University Honors, contact Dr. Anne Dotter.
