Summary

Uma Desai (she/her/hers) is a junior on the pre-med track studying human biology (with a concentration in anthropology) and Spanish. She is involved with Phi Delta Epsilon (a pre-medical fraternity), KU Gymnastics Club, and is a tutor through the AAAC. In her free time, she volunteers at JayDoc as a Spanish medical interpreter. Uma studied abroad this past summer in the Barcelona through the language, literature, and culture program. She currently does research in the Department of Molecular Biosciences under Dr. Unckless.
