Summary

Cheyanne Teasley (she/her/hers) is a senior from Kansas City, Missouri majoring in news and information journalism and double-minoring in the Arabic language and peace and conflict studies. On campus she is involved with Jayhawk Exchange Friends, the Peace Corps Preparation Program, Jayhawks Fostering Success and the KU Honors Program. She spent a semester traveling throughout Morocco interviewing victims of racism and discrimination, and writing articles about the injustices they face. Off campus she is an aspiring chef, a novice skateboarder and an advocate for foster care reform.
