Nila Khan
Nila Khan (she/her/hers) is a junior from Dodge City, KS majoring in biology and is on the pre-medicine track. She is currently involved in research in Dr. Joy Ward's lab studying the effects of varying levels of carbon dioxide on plant hair formation and patterning. She is also a biology tutor for the AAAC and an executive board member of Future Leaders In Healthcare, a student organization helping to promote life skills for students looking to pursue a career in healthcare. She is also involved with Best Buddies, KU Honors Student Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and volunteers regularly at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
