Michaela Lopez (she/her/hers) is a junior from Lee’s Summit, Missouri in her third year of undergrad at KU. Michaela is on the pre-med track and plans to major in human biology with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Science. She is a part of the Honors Program, Multicultural Scholars Program, Greek life, the Latin American Student Union, and is the outreach director for RISE at St. Lawrence Center. She is a research assistant in Claudia Dozier’s lab and has studied abroad in Spain. In her spare time, she likes to read, go on Mission Trips to Guatemala, attend KU basketball games, and hangout with family.
