Melissa Smith
Melissa Smith (she/her/hers) is from Denver, Colorado and is currently studying architecture at the KU School of Architecture and Design. She has held leadership roles as the Vice President of Architecture Student Council, as the student representative of the Architecture Curriculum Committee, and as a member of several sub-committees for the Dean's Advisory Board for the School of Architecture and Design. She is also an Ambassador for the School of Architecture and Design, responsible for giving tours to prospective students. Melissa has been involved with swing dancing and Argentine tango, as well. This fall she is studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where she is learning about sustainable design and adaptive reuse. While abroad she is also involved in an after-school choir and is acting as a Class Representative for one of her subjects.
