Summary

Mauricio currently serves as the Student Experience Designer in the University Honors Program at the University of Kansas. In this role, he oversees advising efforts for Honors students, and designs meaningful co-curricular experiences for students in the University Honors Program. Mauricio is passionate about issues of social justice, men and masculinities and the intersection of sports and politics. His research is focused on exploring the experiences of cisgender men of color who engaged in academic help-seeking behaviors during their first year at KU.
