Dania Shoaib (she/her/hers) is a junior from Elizabethtown, KY.  She is majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and is minoring in Public Policy and Psychology. She is also on the pre-med track. Dania is doing research in Dr. Rob Ward’s lab studying genetics and oogenesis in Drosophila melanogaster. She is involved in the Pre-Medical Society, the Future Leaders in Healthcare, and the Muslim Student Association. She is also a part of the 38th class of University Scholars and serves on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, calligraphy, and volunteering at Jubilee Café.
