Christa Stenzel (she/her/hers) is a senior from De Soto, Kansas double majoring in Social Work and Psychology. She intends to pursue a career in public policy and program development to benefit underrepresented populations. Currently, Christa holds many leadership roles across campus. She is the Vice President for the Psychology Honor Society, Psi Chi, and Fundraising Director for four organizations: Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, Global Partners, Natural Ties, and the BSW Student Group. She also spends her time volunteering for the Lawrence Community Shelter, working as an Honors Seminar Assistant, and conducting research in Dr. Gillath’s Social Interactions Lab. This summer, she had the opportunity to intern for Dallas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). When she is not on campus, you can find her reading a mystery novel or exploring local coffee shops.
