Adrian Romero (he/him/his) is a junior from Tegucigalpa, Honduras majoring in Chemical Engineering with an environmental emphasis. He is the president for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), EXPO chair for Engineering Student Council, Events Planner for International Peer Support and Engineering Student Senator. He also does undergraduate research with Dr. Belinda Sturm in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Adrian also works as a Resident Assistant in Templin Hall. He loves to advocate for Hispanics within STEM and for international students, which is why he also works in the Office of International Admissions as a student assistant and International Student Ambassador. In his free time, he loves playing volleyball (indoor and sand), watching series and spending time with loved ones.
