Honors Experiences

"All genuine education comes through experience."

-John Dewey, 1938

Honors Experiences ask you to solidify your knowledge and transform it into skills applicable to your professional aspirations.

Honors experiential learning activities are varied and include study abroad, research, service learning, and internships. Through our Honors Experience requirement, we encourage students from all disciplines to challenge themselves by including research, career planning, extracurricular involvement, and/or extended travel into their undergraduate experience.

Not sure what will work best for your goals and interests? Follow the links in the left-hand toolbar to learn more about potential experiences, or contact your Honors advisor.

“One must learn by doing the thing, for though you think you know it, you have no certainty, until you try.”

-Sophocles, 406 BCE
