Marynell Popst is a fourth generation Jayhawk (C’06) with a degree in English.  During her time at KU she was active in Student Senate, including serving as Vice President of the Student Body her senior year and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.  Marynell is currently the Executive Vice President of Reece Construction Co., Inc. Reece Construction is a family company which builds bridges and concrete structures for highways in Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. She graduated from  SMU’s Cox School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Strategic Leadership. She and her husband live in Wichita, Kansas with their two daughters, Taylor and Emily.  Before she moved to Wichita, she was a board member for several non-profit organizations in Dallas, including Project Transformation and Four Corners Medical Mission.
