Katie Bernard (she/her/hers) is a junior from Overland Park, Kansas studying journalism and political science. She is currently a correspondent for the University Daily Kansan, a producer for Good Morning KU, and a producing intern for Channel 6 news. In addition to student media Katie is also involved with the Dole Institute of Politics Student Advisory Board and is the executive director for Students Empowering Local Futures, a community service organization on campus.
