Summary

Katie Bernard (she/her/hers) is a senior from Overland Park, Kansas studying journalism and political science. She is currently a part time reporter for the Kansas City Business Journal. Prior to starting at the Business Journal, Katie interned for media outlets around the Kansas City area including the Kansas City Star and KCUR 89.3. She gas worked with nearly every student media organization on campus including the University Daily Kansan, KUJH-TV and KJHK radio.  Katie is also an Honors Program student worker and is very involved in the Dole Institute of Politics, a bipartisan center on campus.
