Julie Spangler (she/her/hers) is a sophomore from Andover, Kanas who was just accepted into the KU School of Pharmacy for fall of 2017. She’s also minoring in Visual Arts. Julie switched from Chemical Engineering with the SELF program to pre-pharmacy last year. She is events chair for Honors Program Student Council and will be a freshman honors seminar teacher’s assistant in the fall. Julie works in The Picking Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant working with immunology, and also works part time at Walgreens as a pharmacy technician. In the past, she has studied abroad in Costa Rica. In her free time, she likes to hike around Clinton lake, read books, do counted cross stitch, and grow plants.
