Julie Spangler (she/her/hers) is a junior from Andover, Kansas, who just started at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Julie switched from chemical engineering with the SELF program to pre-pharmacy her sophomore year. She is a freshman honors seminar teacher’s assistant this fall and works part time at Walgreens as a Pharmacy Intern. In the past, she has studied abroad in Costa Rica and participated in undergraduate research in vaccine development with the Picking Laboratory. In her free time, she likes to hike around Clinton lake, read books, and pet dogs.
