Summary

Jacob Hammil (he/him/his) is a sophomore from Wichita, KS majoring in mechanical engineering. He does undergraduate research investigating granular metamaterials with a focus in negative Poisson’s Ratio grain interactions. Jacob is currently serving as an Engineering Senator on Student Senate sitting on the University Affairs committee. He is also the Logistics and Development Coordinator for The Big Event. He enjoys listening to music and hammocking around campus in his free time.
