Abby Petrulis is a senior from Olathe, Kansas in her third year of Pharmacy School. She is currently involved with several pharmacy organizations. In the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists, she serves as the Policy Vice President, advocating for the advancement of the pharmacy profession and occasionally giving presentations to sororities and fraternities on health. She is also the President of Phi Lambda Sigma, an organization for leadership in pharmacy. In addition to being involved as an undergraduate research assistant in pharmaceutical chemistry, she also co-founded a new club to stimulate pharmacy student interest in basic science research, ResearchRx. In her spare time, she reads too many books, has written a healthcare column for the University Daily Kansan, mentors pre-pharmacy and first year pharmacy students, and volunteers at the JayDoc Free Clinic for underserved populations in Kansas City.
